Lipstick, Lettuce & Lycra was created in September 2012 after I ran my first 5k race.
It’s aim is to be part diary, part motivational tool charting my start in running and attempting to live a healthier lifestyle, against all the difficulties the modern world throws up. It’s aim is to show the good days, and the bad days, and help people, like me, who aren’t naturally the fit and energetic, leap out of bed types, to make a few small changes and get more active and eat better in general.
